Project Overview
The Agatuwbe Community-Based Small Hydropower Project is a renewable energy initiative funded by the Republic of Rwanda Ministry of Infrastructure and UNIDO. This project aims to provide clean and sustainable electricity to the local community using a 200kW Francis turbine system. Key features of the project: Capacity: 200kW Turbine Type: Francis Headrace Channel: 525m Penstock Line: 50m Transmission Line: 3.5km LT Distribution Line: 3.0km The project is executed by ENCO (Private) Limited, Sri Lanka, ensuring reliable energy generation and improved access to electricity for the community.
